Best language learning app
Its a bit of mystery to me why more people havent caught on to Hello Hello, but if you are reading this, rest assured, youve found the right app. Im a Spanish teacher and I first used Hello Hello to learn Mandarin and now Im working on French. Ive checked out just about every language learning app out there and Hello Hello is the only one that has taken the time to apply proven language learning methodology correctly, and, most importantly, it works. Theres nothing terribly flashy about the app; it focusses on 30 high frequency conversations situations and then guides you through learning them through listening, reading, speaking and writing. Its really that simple, but you wont find another app out there that does this. Why? My guess is that it isnt all that easy. People seem to love flash card apps, spaced repetition and games, and I suppose that is because they are easy and fun, but those apps really cant teach you the language; they can only reinforce bits and pieces of it. Hello Hello forces you to bridge the gaps on your own. The conversations arent particularly exciting, but they explore each topic thoroughly and give you a ton to learn. The trick is that you have do most of the work on your own. You need to figure out the grammar, make the connections, learn the vocab. But, like it or not, that is the best way to make it stick. This app gets you ready to communicate with other people in the language you are learning, and Ive found no others that do it nearly as well as Hello Hello.
